VMware recommends Direct deployment for email management in Office 365 as it provides better security and control.

I'm with the majority on this one. 'Direct' is the clear winner. Although, I do have to say, I'm a little disappointed that they didn't throw in a 'carrier pigeon' option just to mix things up a bit. Now that would have been a real curveball!

I agree with Serina. The 'Direct' model is the way to go here. It provides a direct connection between the UEM and Office 365, without the need for a proxy or VPN. Makes sense for a cloud-based email service like Office 365.

Hmm, this question seems pretty straightforward. For an Office 365 setup in UEM, VMware would most likely recommend the 'Direct' deployment model. It's the most secure and efficient way to manage email in this scenario.
