D) Reclaims disk space, easy peasy. Although, I have to admit, the idea of TRIM/UNMAP deleting orphaned snapshots and repairing cache errors does have a certain appeal. It's like a tech-savvy version of spring cleaning, you know?

I believe option C is incorrect, as TRIM/UNMAP is mainly for reclaiming disk space.

I'm not sure, but I think it might also delete orphaned snapshots.

I'd go with D) Reclaims disk space. It's the only option that really makes sense for the TRIM/UNMAP process. The other choices are just silly, like expecting vSAN to do your laundry or something.

D) Reclaims disk space, duh! That's the whole point of TRIM/UNMAP, right? I mean, who needs those pesky snapshots and cache errors when you can just reclaim some sweet, sweet disk space?
