D has got to be the answer. MATLAB is great, but it's probably not the statistical engine TIBCO Spotfire was designed for. It's like trying to use a spoon to eat spaghetti.

I'm going to go with C. Scala is cool and all, but I don't think it's the best match for TIBCO Spotfire. It's like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.

I think it's C) Scala too. It just doesn't seem like it would work well with TIBCO Spotfire Statistical Services.
