Whoever wrote this question must have a twisted sense of humor. I mean, 'CPU load threshold'? What is this, the Stone Age? Everyone knows cloud computing has made on-prem server monitoring a thing of the past.

Hmm, this is a tough one. I'm gonna have to go with B, just because 'custom poller thresholds' sounds like the kind of obscure SolarWinds feature that they'd ask about on a certification exam.

I agree, that does sound like it could be where CPU load is included in the node status calculation.

This question is a real head-scratcher. I'm tempted to say A, but I've got a feeling that's too easy. Maybe they're trying to trick us with these answer choices.

I'm gonna go with D on this one. Polling settings would be the logical place to check for CPU load thresholds, since that's where you'd configure all your node monitoring parameters.

I believe it's actually through custom poller thresholds, as they allow for more specific monitoring parameters.

I think the CPU load is included in the node status calculation through core thresholds.

Option C seems like the obvious choice here. I mean, if the node status is calculated based on various contributors, CPU load should definitely be one of them, right?

User 2: Yeah, that makes sense. CPU load should definitely be a contributor to the node status calculation.
