Hmm, I wonder if the architect has considered the impact of file encoding on data quality. Better stick to good old UTF-8 to be safe. Option A looks solid to me.
I'd go with Option D. Having flexibility with file formats and compression options, plus the ability to use a user-supplied encryption key, makes that the most comprehensive choice.
Option C looks good to me. Parquet files with gzip compression in Google Cloud Storage - that's the way to go for efficient data unloading in Snowflake.
