I'm going with B). Coaching has specific, short-term objectives, and it's strategic in nature. That's the essence of effective coaching, in my opinion.
Interesting perspectives. I personally think C) It aims to demonstrate required behaviour; it helps to measure goals; it is performance and task-related, is the best fit for coaching characteristics.
I see your point, but I still believe D) It is strategic in nature; it identifies opportunities to achieve goals; it aims to change behaviour, is the most accurate.
A) is the most comprehensive answer. It covers the key characteristics of coaching - performance/task-related, goal-setting, and identifying opportunities to achieve those goals.
