A Statistical Analysis Plan describes a clinical trial as "A 12 week, double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized, multi-center study." Double-blind refers to which groups in this study?
Well, the question does say it's a 'randomized, multi-center study,' so I'm going with B) investigator and subjects. Gotta keep those researchers and participants in the dark, you know?
Haha, I bet the sponsor is just crossing their fingers and hoping the statistician doesn't mess this one up. C) statistician and sponsor would be a good way to really blind everyone!
I'm pretty sure the answer is B) investigator and subjects. That's the classic definition of double-blind, where neither the participants nor the researchers know who's getting the treatment.
