Hmm, B) Yard management might be useful too, especially if we have a lot of trucks coming and going. But for the putaway problem, D is the clear winner.

Cross-docking, C, could also be useful for speeding up the throughput. But slotting seems more focused on the putaway side, which is what the question is asking about.
