I think option A could also work. Creating an owner-based sharing rule on AccountContactRelation for retail sales reps to access account contact roles records seems like a valid approach.

I disagree, I believe option C is more appropriate. Creating a criteria-based sharing rule for Retail Sales role to access Person Accounts seems like a better solution.

Option C is the winner here. Keeps things organized and secure. Plus, who doesn't love a good criteria-based sharing rule? It's like the icing on the cake of Salesforce admin life.

Wait, so the Retail Sales team can't access the Business Accounts? That's like a baker not being able to touch the bread, what's the point?

Option C seems like the way to go. A criteria-based sharing rule is the cleanest solution to grant the Retail Sales team access to Person Accounts without exposing the Business Accounts.
