The Sales Cloud implementation at Cloud Kicks (CK) is now live. End user training is complete. IT stakeholders have signed off on the technical aspects of the project. The CK admin continues to call the consultant with questions about the sales process.

What should the consultant do?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: B

A knowledge transfer is essential to ensure that the Cloud Kicks admin is fully equipped to manage the Sales Cloud implementation post-go-live. This process involves detailed discussions, documentation, and training sessions to cover any gaps in understanding and to ensure the admin can handle day-to-day operations and troubleshoot issues. It also fosters independence and confidence in managing the system.

I agree with Sina - the Salesforce training is the way to go. The admin can learn all the ins and outs of the platform, and the consultant can finally get some peace and quiet. Or, you know, they could just hire a secretary to handle all the admin's questions. That's what I'd do if I were the consultant.

A support agreement? Really? That sounds like the consultant is just trying to milk more money out of CK. The admin needs hands-on training, not a piece of paper that says they can call the consultant whenever they feel like it.

Hmm, I think the consultant should recommend the admin attend Salesforce training. That way they'll have a deeper understanding of the platform and won't need to rely on the consultant as much. Plus, it's like a mini-vacation for the admin - they get to learn new things while sipping coffee in a cozy classroom.

The consultant should definitely conduct a knowledge transfer with the admin. That's the best way to ensure the admin can handle the day-to-day operations and stop pestering the consultant with endless questions.
