[All ARC-101 Questions]

Northern Trail Outfitters (NTO) use Salesforce to track leads, opportunities, and to capture order details. However, Salesforce isn't the system that holds or processes orders. After the order details are captured in Salesforce, an order must be created in the remote system, which manages the orders lifecylce. The Integration Architect for the project is recommending a remote system that will subscribe to the platform event defined in Salesforce.

Which integration pattern should be used for this business use case?

I was leaning towards B, Request and Reply, but after thinking it through, C makes more sense. The remote system just needs to listen and process, no need for a two-way conversation. Efficiency, baby!

Haha, 'fire and forget' - sounds like my college roommate's approach to laundry. But in this case, it does seem like the best option. Gotta keep that remote system synced up without all the back-and-forth.

I disagree, I believe Request and Reply would be more suitable because it ensures the order is processed correctly.

I agree, C is the way to go. It's the most efficient pattern since the remote system doesn't need to respond back to Salesforce. Plus, who needs more complicated 'request and reply' when you can just 'fire and forget'?

Hmm, I think the answer is C. Fire and Forget. Seems like the perfect fit for this use case where the remote system just needs to listen for the platform event and process the order details.

Batch Data Synchronization could work well to ensure all order details are accurately transferred.

I think Remote Call In might be a better option to ensure the order is processed correctly.
