Nope. its A, Since Files Connect is obviously for files. From Your linked article “Reference — points to external files stored outside Salesforce. No file previews are available, and file downloads require user access to the external system.” However hereby we talking about records: ” invoice records and wants to show these records on its Salesforce Partner Community.” Salesforce Connect and External Objects is capable to display external tables.
