How should an administrator accomplish this?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: D

A roll-up summary field is a type of field that calculates values from related records and displays them on the parent record. A roll-up summary field can be used to count, sum, min, or max values from child records. You can create a roll-up summary field on an object that has a master-detail relationship with another object. In this case, you can create a roll-up summary field on Room that counts the number of Equipment records related to it. D looks good, but I'm not sure a roll-up summary field is the best solution here. C might be more appropriate.

But wouldn't it be better to create a roll-up summary field on Room instead?

I think C is the way to go. It makes sense to configure a roll-up summary field on Equipment.

Hah, 'ftews'? I'm pretty sure they meant to say 'flows'. Nice try, though!

B seems a bit off-target. I don't think we need to worry about Room records in this case.
