Haha, the project manager must have been sleeping on the job if they waited until the end to plan for acceptance. What, did they think the client was just going to magically appear and say 'Looks good, ship it!'?

Hmm, I see what you're saying Ronnie, but I don't think that's a good enough reason. The project manager should have been proactive and got the client involved throughout the process, not just at the end.

You guys make a good point. But what if the client wanted to wait until the end to do the acceptance? Wouldn't that be a valid reason to plan for it at the end of stage 4?

I agree with Shannon. Waiting until the end of the project to plan for acceptance and handover is a bit late in my opinion. Shouldn't that have been part of the project plan from the beginning?
