Pegasystems Exam PEGACPLSA88V1 Topic 6 Question 7 Discussion

Actual exam question for Pegasystems's PEGACPLSA88V1 exam
Question #: 7
Topic #: 6
[All PEGACPLSA88V1 Questions]

A health plan application includes a process for surgical procedure requests. Currently, there is an evaluation subprocess in which a physician reviews the diagnosis and enters the recommended procedure and its urgency. The request then advances to a medical director who analyzes the feedback and approves the appropriate procedure. The health care organization has created a new requirement, which states that three physicians can perform the evaluation independently. Only two evaluations are necessary to advance the case to the medical director.

In order to allow the three physicians to review the orders in parallel, how would you configure the process?

In that case, I think adding a Split For Each shape, like in option B, would be the most logical choice to ensure each physician can review the orders separately.

I don't think option C is the best choice because the requirement is specifically for physicians to review the orders independently, not the evaluation process.

But what about option C, adding a Split Join shape and calling the evaluation process instead?

I agree with Douglass, having the physicians review the orders in parallel will definitely speed up the process.

I think we should go with option A, adding a Split Join shape and calling the surgical procedure request process.

I think adding a cascading approvals shape that is called by the evaluation subprocess would be a better option. It ensures a structured approval process.

I agree with User1. Adding a Split Join shape makes sense as it allows three physicians to review orders in parallel.

I disagree. I believe adding a Split For Each shape with a list of physicians and calling the evaluation process would be more efficient.
