D is a clever one, but I think the correct answer is B, G, and H. The CDB needs to have that metadata and user/role info to manage the whole shebang.

Ha! The CDB is like the CEO's office, while the PDBs are the cubicles. Of course it has all the juicy details the regular employees don't get to see. I'll go with B, G, and H.

I agree with Heike, because those items are specific to the root of the CDB.

This is a tricky one, but I'd say the answer is B, G, H. The CDB is like the boss, so it gets all the good stuff the PDBs can't have.

Exactly, the CDB holds all the important stuff that the PDBs don't need.

So, the PDBs don't have those items, only the CDB does.

I agree, the CDB has shared UNDO and default database temporary tablespace, Oracle-supplied metadata, local users and local roles, and non-shared local metadata.

I think A and F are also correct. The CDB needs to manage the shared UNDO and default temp tablespace, as well as the local temp tablespaces for each PDB.

No, only A is correct. The shared UNDO and default temp tablespace are in the root of a CDB.

Definitely B, G, and H. The CDB is the top-level container, so it has to have the Oracle-supplied metadata and local user/role information that the PDBs don't have.

That's right, the non-shared local metadata is also unique to the root of the CDB.

Yes, and it also has the local users and local roles that are specific to the CDB.
