Based on my calculations, the total active working set is 1TB, so I think we need at least 4.0TiB of HDD Capacity.

Why do you think it's C) 4.0TiB?

Wait, is this a trick question? What if the prospect is trying to trick us into wasting storage space? I'm going with the smallest option, A, just to be on the safe side. *insert witty joke about Nutanix being 'nut-tastic'*

Hold on, are we talking about TiB or TB here? I'm a bit confused... Anyway, I'm gonna go with A, 3.0TiB. Seems like the most logical choice to me.

Woah, 7.5TiB? That's overkill if the active working set is only 1TB. I'm going with C, 4.0TiB. Better safe than sorry, but no need to go overboard.

Hmm, this seems pretty straightforward. I'd go with option B, 3.5TiB. That's a nice round number and should cover the 1TB active working set nicely.
