I personally think bare metal imaging the nodes with the Foundation VM would be the most efficient way to go.

I agree with using the Foundation Applet seems like the best option in this case.

I disagree, I believe we should build the cluster with the Foundation VM instead.

Totally agree. Option D for the win! Although, I did hear a rumor that the Foundation VM is actually powered by unicorn tears, so maybe that's the way to go for some extra magic. *winks*

Ah, I see what you're saying. In that case, I'd go with option D as well. It's the cleanest and most efficient way to get the new cluster up and running, assuming the hardware is ready to go.

Hmm, good point. I guess option C could be a valid choice too, if the nodes aren't already registered. But I'd still lean towards D, since that's the simplest and most streamlined approach if everything's already set up correctly.

But wait, what if the nodes aren't registered in Prism Central yet? Wouldn't we need to use the Foundation VM to bare metal image the nodes first before we can build the cluster in Prism Central?

Agreed, I think the obvious choice here is option D - Build the cluster with Foundation Central. That's the recommended way to build new clusters when you've already got the hardware set up.

I think this question is pretty straightforward. The customer already has the cluster racked and powered on remotely with the factory image, so we just need to use Prism Central to build the cluster.
