I personally think option D is the most efficient. Enabling Smart Tiering in Files within the File Console can automatically move data to the appropriate storage tier based on usage.

I see both points. But I think option C might be the most secure way. Setting up another cluster and replicating data with Protection Domain ensures data integrity.

Smart Tiering in Option D is the smart choice here. It's like magic - the data just migrates itself to the cloud, leaving the fresh stuff on the local storage. Easy peasy!

I disagree with Cheryl. I believe option B is better. Backing up data and replicating to the cloud provides more flexibility and accessibility.

Haha, Option C - setting up a whole new cluster just to replicate data? That's overkill, they're looking to free up space, not add more infrastructure!

I'm not sure about tape storage these days, Option A seems a bit outdated. Cloud is the way to go, Option B or D would be my pick.
