[All 4A0-C04 Questions]
How is the aggregator attribute handled with 32-bit AS numbers?
A
With the same method and attribute as 16-bit AS numbers.
B
With the same method as 16-bit AS numbers, but using the AS4_Aggregator attribute.
C
Aggregation is not yet supported with 32-bit AS numbers.
D
By using a dummy value of 23456 in the 16-bit AS aggregator field. This value lets the router know it needs to read the 32-bit AS number that is contained in the nextTLV.

D, for 'Definitely Suspicious'. Who comes up with these answer options, anyway? The router needs to 'read the 32-bit AS number'? Sounds like someone's trying to trick us!

C, definitely C. Aggregation is not yet supported with 32-bit AS numbers. They're still working on that feature, right?

I'm not sure about that. I think it might be D) By using a dummy value of 23456 in the 16-bit AS aggregator field. That makes more sense to me.

I agree with Charlene. The AS4_Aggregator attribute is specifically designed to handle the aggregator attribute with 32-bit AS numbers.

Wait, we're supposed to handle 32-bit AS numbers? I thought we were just dealing with the regular 16-bit ones. *checks notes* Ah, got it, B it is.

Exactly, we just need to use a dummy value in the 16-bit AS aggregator field to read the 32-bit AS number.

So, we don't have to worry about aggregation not being supported for 32-bit AS numbers.

Yeah, that's right. It's the same method as 16-bit AS numbers, just with a different attribute.

I think the correct answer is B) With the same method as 16-bit AS numbers, but using the AS4_Aggregator attribute.

Haha, 'dummy value of 23456'? That's got to be the most made-up looking answer option I've ever seen. I'm going with B.

I'm pretty sure it's B, the same method as 16-bit AS numbers but using the AS4_Aggregator attribute. That's how I remember it from the study guide.

Yes, that's correct. It helps handle the aggregator attribute with the longer AS numbers.

I think you're right, it's B. The AS4_Aggregator attribute is used with 32-bit AS numbers.
