How is the aggregator attribute handled with 32-bit AS numbers?
A
With the same method and attribute as 16-bit AS numbers.
B
With the same method as 16-bit AS numbers, but using the AS4_Aggregator attribute.
C
Aggregation is not yet supported with 32-bit AS numbers.
D
By using a dummy value of 23456 in the 16-bit AS aggregator field. This value lets the router know it needs to read the 32-bit AS number that is contained in the nextTLV.

Haha, option D sounds like the router's way of saying 'Hey, I know this is a 32-bit number, just bear with me here!'

C looks right to me. Aggregation with 32-bit AS numbers isn't supported yet, so that's the logical answer.

Hmm, I'm leaning towards D. Using a dummy value to indicate the 32-bit AS number in the next TLV seems like a clever workaround.

User 2: Agreed, using a dummy value to point to the actual 32-bit AS number makes sense.

I'm not sure about that. I think it might be D) By using a dummy value of 23456 in the 16-bit AS aggregator field.

I agree with Leanna. It makes sense to use the AS4_Aggregator attribute for 32-bit AS numbers.

I think the answer is B) With the same method as 16-bit AS numbers, but using the AS4_Aggregator attribute.

I'm pretty sure it's option B. The 32-bit AS numbers use the same method as 16-bit, but with the AS4_Aggregator attribute.

Exactly, using the AS4_Aggregator attribute is how the aggregator attribute is handled with 32-bit AS numbers.

So, it's not the same method as 16-bit AS numbers, but it involves the AS4_Aggregator attribute.
