I believe option A is also a form of Shadow IT, as it involves using a sanctioned account for non-sensitive data.

Hold on, I'm not so sure about that. What about A? Isn't a sanctioned Salesforce account still considered Shadow IT if the data being uploaded is non-sensitive?
