You have a NAS volume containing 100 GB of data and daily change rate of 10%. You want to keep seven daily Snapshot copies. What is the minimum size for the volume?
B) 100 GB? Nah, that's not enough. You need to account for the snapshot copies. I'm leaning towards A) 170 GB, but I'd better double-check my math just to be sure.
D) 220 GB? Really? That's way too much space. The daily change rate is only 10%, so even with 7 snapshots, you don't need that much capacity. I'm going with C) 110 GB.
I think the answer is A) 170 GB. You need to store 7 daily snapshots, and each snapshot will be 10% of the initial 100 GB volume, so that adds up to 70 GB. Plus the original 100 GB, so 170 GB seems about right.
