I believe setting the watermark column to the user_Id column is the best option to ensure each row is retrieved only once.

I think setting the target value to the last retrieved user_jd value would also work to prevent duplicates.

I agree with Ciara, setting the watermark column to login_date_time should prevent duplicates.

That's a good point, retrieving each row at most one time is important to prevent duplicates in the database.

I think setting the target value to the last retrieved user_jd value makes more sense to avoid retrieving duplicate rows.

You know what, I'm just going to go with option B. Setting the target value to the last retrieved login_date_time value sounds the most straightforward to me. Worst case, I can always explain my reasoning if I get it wrong.

Hmm, I think the key here is to use the right columns as the watermark and target value. Since the user_id column and the login_date_time column are both unique, we need to use one of them to ensure we don't retrieve the same row multiple times.

I'm not too sure about this question. The options seem a bit confusing to me. How are we supposed to configure the listener to retrieve each row at most one time?

I'm not sure, maybe we need to set the target value to the last retrieved user_jd value.
