I don't think so, because it wouldn't make sense to send packets to an unreachable gateway.

But what about option A? Do you think ECMP will still send packets to all gateways even if one is unreachable?

I agree, I believe the unreachable gateway will not be used in the Round Robin algorithm.

I think if 'check-gateway' is enabled for an ECMP route and one of the gateways is unreachable, the ECMP route becomes inactive.
