Note: This question is part of a series of questions that present the same scenario. Each question in the series contains a unique solution that might meet the stated goals. Some question sets might have more than one correct solution, while others might not have a correct solution.

After you answer a question in this section, you will NOT be able to return to it. As a result, these questions will not appear in the review screen.

You have a Microsoft 365 subscription.

You have a user named User1. Several users have full access to the mailbox of User1.

Some email messages sent to User1 appear to have been read and deleted before the user viewed them.

When you search the audit log in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal to identify who signed in to the mailbox of User1, the result are blank.

You need to ensure that you can view future sign-ins to the mailbox of User1.

Solution: You run the Set-MailboxFolderPermission -Identity "User1'' -User Userl@contoso.com -AccessRights Owner command.

Does that meet the goal?

Alright, let's give it a try then. If it doesn't work, we can always explore other options.

I think Chantell makes a valid point. We should weigh the pros and cons of the solution before deciding.

But what if the solution provided is the most effective one? We shouldn't dismiss it without considering its benefits.

I'm not so sure. Maybe it's better to try a different solution just to be safe.

Yes, I think that solution works. It should give me the access I need.

Haha, very funny. Deleting all the emails is definitely not the solution here. We need to find a way to actually track who's accessing the mailbox, not just cover up the problem. This is a tricky one for sure.

Hmm, you know, I bet if we just tried to delete all the emails in the mailbox, that would fix the problem. Then there wouldn't be any more 'missing' emails, right? *chuckles*

So, the answer is A) Yes, we should run the Set-MailboxFolderPermission command, right?

I think running the Set-MailboxFolderPermission command could help us monitor future sign-ins.

That might make the situation worse. We need to find a way to track who is accessing User1's mailbox.

Maybe we should try a different solution instead of deleting all emails.

Yeah, I agree. The question specifically says we need to be able to view future sign-ins, and that command doesn't sound like it would do that. We'd need to look into the audit log settings or something similar.

I'm not sure that running that command is the right solution. Giving the user full ownership of their own mailbox doesn't seem like it would help us view future sign-ins. Wouldn't we need to configure auditing or something like that?
