Well, the question does say there might be more than one correct solution, so this could be part of it. But I agree, we need to consider the subcontracting side of things as well.

Hmm, I'm not convinced. Stocking the service product and including it in the BOM doesn't really address the subcontracting aspect of the requirement. There might be more to it.
