Hmm, I'm not so sure about the 'dimensions must be specified that match the original but not the new product dimension group' part. That seems a bit convoluted to me. Why would you need to match the original dimensions but not the new ones?

Ah, yes, that's a good point. The item has to not be validated yet. Otherwise, you're kind of stuck with the original product dimension group.

Hmm, this question seems pretty straightforward. I think the key conditions are that the product hasn't been released to any legal entities and that the dimensions must not be specified for the product master. Those seem like the most important things to me.
