[All AZ-400 Questions]

Your company builds a multi tier web application.

>You use Azure DevOps and host the production application on Azure virtual machines.

Your team prepares an Azure Resource Manager template of the virtual machine that you mil use to test new features.

You need to create a staging environment in Azure that meets the following requirements:

* Minimizes the cost of Azure hosting

* Provisions the virtual machines automatically

* Use* the custom Azure Resource Manager template to provision the virtual machines

What should you do?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: A

You can use the Azure DevTest Labs Tasks extension that's installed in Azure DevOps to easily integrate your CI/CD build-and-release pipeline with Azure DevTest Labs. The extension installs three tasks:

* Create a VM

* Create a custom image from a VM

* Delete a VM

The process makes it easy to, for example, quickly deploy a "golden image" for a specific test task and then delete it when the test is finished.

D is just overkill for this scenario, stick with A!

C seems outdated, I wouldn't go that route.

I think B could work too, but it might be more manual.

I feel like option D could work since it mentions using Azure CLI, but I can't recall if we specifically covered creating staging environments in our practice sessions.

I'm a bit confused about whether to use Azure PowerShell or Azure CLI for this task. Both seem valid, but which one is more efficient for provisioning?

I think we practiced a similar question where we had to use Azure Resource Manager templates, so maybe option A is the right choice?

I remember we discussed using Azure DevTest Labs to minimize costs, but I'm not sure if that's the best option here.

Ah, I see. This is about understanding the capabilities and limitations of the Web UI versus the container. I'll need to make sure I know those details well.

I remember learning about Quick Discovery in class, but I'm drawing a blank on the exact details. I'll have to review my notes before answering this one.

The Ant Migration Tool sounds interesting, but I'm not familiar with it. I'll need to research how it works and if it's a good fit for our deployment needs.

I'm feeling pretty confident about this one. The first step should be to conduct a risk assessment to understand the potential risks and impacts of the new regulation. That will provide the foundation for the rest of the analysis.
