I believe A is the right choice because webapp1 needs to be in the same network as VM1 to access the data.

I'm not sure about A. Maybe deploying an Azure Application Gateway will also work?

Yep, I'm with you all on this one. Option A is the way to go. Though I have to admit, the other choices do sound kind of fancy. Maybe we can use those in a different scenario, just not this one.

Haha, I was just about to say the same thing. It's like they're trying to trick us with those other options. But nope, gotta keep it simple and connect the web app to the same VNET as the database.

I agree with Cassie. Connecting the web app to the same virtual network as the database makes the most sense. The other options like load balancers and Application Gateways are more for load balancing and traffic management, which isn't the requirement here.

Hmm, this question seems to be testing our understanding of Azure networking. I think the correct answer here is A) Connect webapp1 to VNET1. That way, the web app and the MySQL database will be in the same virtual network, allowing direct communication between them.

It might, but connecting webapp1 to VNET1 seems like a more direct solution.

But wouldn't deploying an Azure Application Gateway also work in this case?
