You have finished typing a lengthy document. You want to make the document read-only so that users will not be able to edit the document. Which of the following actions will you take to accomplish the task?
The Mark as Final command is used to mark a document as read-only. The Mark as Final command does not provide a security feature. If a user receives a document marked as final, he can reverse the Mark as Final status and edit the document. The Mark as Final icon in the status bar at the lower-left side of the Word window can be used to determine whether a document is marked as final. The icon disappears from the status bar when a document is unmarked.
The Mark as Final option is used to make a document read-only so that users can only read the document and not be permitted to make any changes on it. Take the following steps to mark a document as final:
1.Open the document to mark it as final. Click the File tab.
2.In the left pane, click the Info pane.
