Hmm, I'm going to have to go with D) on this one. Anything involving mounting other VMs' file systems or setting up a ramdisk sounds like a recipe for disaster. Keep it simple and secure with a network file system.
A) Writing data to the file system? Really? That's just asking for trouble. Might as well just put all the VMs in the same container and call it a day.
E) Attaching the same virtual hard disk to all VMs and using EXT4 sharing extensions is an interesting idea, but it seems a bit risky. What if one VM corrupts the shared disk? Better to keep things isolated.
D) Using a network file system or file transfer protocol seems like the most logical and secure way to share data between virtual machines. I can't imagine all the virtual machines having access to the same file system - that would be a security nightmare!
