I think B and C are the right answers here. Level 1 routes are definitely advertised to Level 2 by default, and the wide-metrics-only setting blocks that behavior.
So, A and D are incorrect then. Level 1 and Level 2 routers do not advertise Level 2 routes into the Level 1 area by default, and Level 1 routes advertised as external routes into Level 1 are not advertised to any Level 2 routers by default.
A and C sound correct to me. Level 1 and Level 2 routers don't share routes by default, and if wide-metrics-only is on, Level 1 routes aren't sent to Level 2 either.
