Which statement is correct about a WLAN RF medium?
According to the Cisco Content Hub1, Wi-Fi is half duplex, meaning we can either transmit (Tx) or receive (Rx) on the medium, the clients and the network take turns accessing the medium. Wi-Fi is contention based, meaning there are rules for stations trying to access the medium and collisions (due to two or more stations simultaneously accessing the medium) are worked out fairly so everyone gets a chance.
