Which three rules are used to process include/exclude statements? (Select three.)
A:If you do not create an include-exclude list, the backup-archive client considers all files for backup services and uses the default management class for backup and archive services.

Which three IBM Spectrum Protect housekeeping processes control the life cycle of a tape volume? (Select three.)
In order for deduplication to be beneficial, which rule must the files meets?
Client-side encryption is incompatible with TSM deduplication. However TSM deduplication can be used together with SSL (encryption of data in flight) or encryption by the storage device.

A Windows server D: drive is being archived using IBM Spectrum Protect on a weekly basis and the data is being retained on tape storage pool for period of 180 days.
As per changes suggested by the compliance team, the data on D: drive is now required to be protected on a daily basis and retained for a period of 90 days. To address this requirement, the methodology needs to be moved from Archive to Progressive Incremental.
The existing default management class WEEKLYARCHIVE containing the archive copy group is deleted and a new default management class DAILYBACKUP containing backup copygroup is created.
In this situation what would the retention be for the data already being archived in IBM Spectrum Protect?
The server uses the archive retention grace period to manage archive copies of files when either of the followingconditions occur:

What does the REUSEDELAY parameter of the define stgpool command for POOLTYPE=CLOUD specify?
How does the storage pool REUSEDELAY parameter affect data extents in a container storage pool?
By specifying how long data extents, that are no longer referenced, canbe eligible for reuse before they are removed from the storage system. The data deduplication process for directory-container and cloud-container storage pools identifies the last date and time that the data extent was referenced to determine whether the data extent can be used again. If the data extent is already used by another object, or if the data extent is within the reuse delay period, the data extent is reused if the data deduplication process matches the data extent. The REUSEDELAY parameter is setin days, and can be increased if longer reuse periods are required. Longer reuse periods mean that the data in the storage pool is retained longer before it is deleted due to lack of use.
