I also agree with Maybelle. Client-side deduplication definitely helps offload the deduplication work from the server, especially when a Deduplication Cache is configured.
Sure! With client-side deduplication, the data is processed on the client side before even being sent to the server, so the server doesn't need to perform as much deduplication work.
