With the current setup, I’d agree with offloading backups first. It’s efficient and immediate.

Adding a node means more resiliency and performance upgrades. It’s a bit pricier but seems more valuable long-term.

Adding disks sounds complex. What about adding just one more HPE SimpliVity node? Feels like a more straightforward solution.

I don't know. Offloading backups seems like a temporary solution. Maybe adding more disks and doing a RAID expansion is better?
