An administrator has to configure LDAP authentication tor ZTNA HTTPS access proxy Which authentication scheme can the administrator apply1?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: B

LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) authentication for ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access) HTTPS access proxy is effectively implemented using a Form-based authentication scheme. This approach allows for a secure, interactive, and user-friendly means of capturing credentials. Form-based authentication presents a web form to the user, enabling them to enter their credentials (username and password), which are then processed for authentication against the LDAP directory. This method is widely used for web-based applications, making it a suitable choice for HTTPS access proxy setups in a ZTNA framework. Yeah, no way I'm picking NTLM. That's like using a typewriter to access the internet. Form-based is definitely the way to go here.

Haha, can you imagine trying to use NTLM for this? That would be a disaster. I bet the person who wrote this question was just trying to mess with us.

I agree, form-based authentication is probably the way to go. Basic authentication is a bit outdated, and NTLM isn't really suitable for this use case. Digest could work, but form-based is just more flexible and user-friendly.
