D is the winner for me. Why would you need any static or policy-based routes when FortiWeb is designed to handle this kind of HTTP content routing? Seems like a no-brainer.

I'm going with C. You have to chain the policies to direct the requests to the correct virtual servers for each web application. That's the only way to make this work.

Option B seems like the way to go. You definitely need to put the single web server for application B into a server pool in order to use it with HTTP content routing.
