Hah, D is a good one! 'FortiSwitch must be operating in standalone mode before authorization.' Yeah, right, that would just make things more complicated. I'm sticking with A and B.

I'm gonna go with A and B. Seems like the most logical choices to me. Although, I do wonder if the FortiGate has to be a certain model or can any of them handle the switch stack management?

D definitely can't be right. The FortiSwitch has to be in stacked mode, not standalone, to be managed by the FortiGate. That's just common sense!

I'm not sure about option C and D. Can anyone explain why they are not the correct answers?

Hmm, I'm not sure about C. I thought both hardware and virtual FortiGates could manage a FortiSwitch stack. Maybe I'm missing something there.

I agree with Beckie. Option B must also be true because the switch controller feature is necessary for management.

I think A and B are the correct answers. You need to enable the FortiLink interface and switch controller feature on the FortiGate to manage a FortiSwitch stack.

I think option A is true because a FortiLink interface is needed for managing the stack.
