What about B? The debug flow shows the packet being forwarded, so a default route must be required to receive a reply. That seems like a reasonable conclusion to me.

I agree with you, Rosalind. The output doesn't clearly indicate ICMP, so I'm not confident about A. But D makes sense to me - the firewall must have allowed the connection for us to see this debug flow.
