Interesting approach, but I'm not sure if it's the most efficient way to handle image versioning in a shared environment.

Ah, the good old 'immutable' tag. It's like a digital version of putting your name on your lunchbox in kindergarten.

The solution seems straightforward enough, but I wonder if there's a more elegant way to prevent image overwrites.

I'm no Docker expert, but 'immutable' sounds like a fancy way of saying 'don't touch this, it's mine!'

Tagging the image with 'nginx:immutable'? That's like putting a lock on a revolving door!

Wait, so I can't just push a new 'nginx:latest' and overwrite the old one? What is this, amateur hour? Time to break out the Docker daemon's private key and have some fun.

Hmm, 'immutable' tag, huh? Sounds like a great way to lock down your critical images. Just hope no one tries to 'rm -rf /' the registry server by accident.

Nah, that's not gonna work. The 'immutable' tag is just a suggestion, not an actual enforcement. Anyone with push access can still overwrite the image if they really want to.

True, it's more of a convention than a restriction.

Tagging an image as 'immutable' is a pretty smart way to prevent it from being overwritten. Kudos to the Docker Trusted Registry team for coming up with this feature!
