Dell EMC Exam D-VXR-OE-23 Topic 2 Question 10 Discussion

Actual exam question for Dell EMC's Dell VxRail Operate 2023 exam
Question #: 10
Topic #: 2
[All Dell VxRail Operate 2023 Questions]

Which VxRail networks support link aggregation1?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: C

In VxRail networks, the vSAN and vMotion networks support link aggregation. Link aggregation (also known as NIC teaming) allows multiple network interfaces to be combined into a single logical interface, providing redundancy and increased throughput. This is particularly beneficial for vSAN traffic, which requires high bandwidth and low latency, and vMotion traffic, which benefits from increased network performance during virtual machine migrations.

Ha! Yeah, I agree. This question is almost as confusing as trying to untangle a bowl of spaghetti. But I'm sticking with C) vSAN and vMotion. It just makes the most sense, even if the other options are a bit... creative.

I'm going with C) vSAN and vMotion. Seems like the most logical choice to me. Although, I have to say, some of these options sound like they were written by a group of interns on a coffee binge. What do you think, Candidate 6?

A) VxRail Management and vSAN. It's a no-brainer! Although, I heard a rumor that the exam writers intentionally make some of these questions a bit tricky. Better double-check my answer just in case.

D) vMotion and VxRail Management, for sure! That's the only option that makes sense to me. I can practically hear the VMware engineers laughing at the other choices.

I believe it's A) VxRail Management and vSAN as well, because those are critical for performance and redundancy.

Hmm, I'm not too sure about this one. I was thinking B) Private Management and VxRail Management, but now I'm second-guessing myself. Maybe I should have studied the VxRail documentation more carefully.

I think the correct answer is C) vSAN and vMotion. Link aggregation is commonly used for high-bandwidth network connections, and those two networks would benefit the most from it.
