I think adding the Advanced button to the Commit Changes page layout would be the most effective solution.

I disagree, I believe assigning Dave the Edit User Story Commit Base Branch custom permission is the way to go.

Honestly, I'd just tell Dave to git gud and learn how to use the force or something. But if I had to choose, C seems like the safest bet. Unless, of course, you want Dave to accidentally launch the nukes. Then B is the way to go!

Ah, the age-old question: do I want to give Dave all the power, or just the power he needs? I think C is the way to go. Precision is key, my friends.

B! System Admin all the way, baby! Dave can do anything he wants then, like change the base branch, delete the entire org, maybe even launch the company's missiles. What could go wrong?

I think A is the best option. Assigning the Copado User managed permission set should do the trick.

C is the way to go! Gotta give Dave that custom permission to change the base branch. Wouldn't want him to feel like a second-class citizen, you know?
