[All 1Y0-312 Questions]

What are two valid options to manage antivirus definition updates in a Citrix App Layering deployment? (Choose two.)

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: B, C

Turn on auto updates, and let the updates get stored in the user's Personalization Layer. If auto updates happen daily, this might be the most convenient approach. Note that whenever there is a major product update, you'll need to reinstall on the UEP by redeploying the layer to the desktop with the Reinstall the layer checkbox selected.

Turn off auto updates, and redeploy the layer for each update. This requires updating the layer whenever you want to push out new updates.

B is a solid choice, but A seems easier.

Wait, disabling auto-updates? That sounds risky...

I think C might work too, but not sure.

I'm a bit confused by the port numbers mentioned in the options. Shouldn't we be using the default SQL Server port 1433 instead of 445 or 5022? I'll need to double-check the best practices for availability group configuration.

Isn't client-side load balancing more about managing requests closer to the end-user? I wonder if that's the right approach here.

Remember the stages: Precontemplation, Contemplation, Preparation, Action, Maintenance. Irregular means they're past thinking, but not fully committed. That's Contemplation for sure.

I feel pretty confident about this one. Based on the options provided, I think option A - "Supply Base > Suppliers > Locations" is the correct answer, as it seems to be the most direct path to accessing supplier site information.

The question kind of reminds me of a practice exam we did where we had to identify the differences between the examination and investigation phases.
