I would say false because there have been reports and cases highlighting the presence of forced labor in supply chains of developed economies.

I think it's false because while there are regulations, there are also loopholes that can be exploited by unscrupulous businesses.

I'm not sure about this one, but I would lean towards false because modern slavery can exist even in developed countries.

I believe the answer is false because the complexity of global supply chains can make it difficult to trace and monitor every aspect of production.

I agree, unfortunately, there are many instances where forced labor is still prevalent despite the regulations in place.

Ah, the age-old question of 'is it really as good as it seems?' I've got to say, I'm leaning towards B here. I mean, these economies are 'developed,' but that doesn't mean they're perfect. There's still a lot of work to be done, and I don't think we can just assume that modern slavery is a thing of the past. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for B.

You know, I've been reading a lot about this topic lately, and it's really disheartening to see how much modern slavery is still happening, even in the so-called 'developed' world. I mean, we like to think we've got it all figured out, but the reality is pretty grim. I'm definitely going with B on this one.

I had no idea it was this bad. Makes you wonder about the effectiveness of current protections.

I think so too. It's sad to see this happening in our so-called advanced societies.

I agree with you. It's surprising how prevalent modern slavery still is, even in developed economies.

Ugh, this question is giving me a headache. I feel like I should know the answer, but I just can't wrap my head around it. Maybe I should've paid more attention in that 'Modern Slavery in the 21st Century' lecture. I guess I'll have to go with my gut and say B.

I don't know, you guys. I feel like this is one of those tricky questions where the answer is never as simple as it seems. I mean, do we really know for sure what's going on behind the scenes in these 'developed' economies? I'm gonna have to go with C and just admit that I don't know the answer.

Hmm, I'm not so sure about that. These countries have some pretty robust labor laws, don't they? I mean, I'd like to think that modern slavery isn't a thing here. But you know what they say, 'where there's a will, there's a way' when it comes to exploiting people. I'm leaning towards B, but I'm not 100% convinced.

Oh boy, this question is a doozy! I bet the exam writers were just waiting for someone to fall for the 'developed economies = no modern slavery' trap. I'm definitely going with B on this one.
