Haha, E being an 'example of a compliance driven ethical framework' just sounds like a fancy way of saying 'a bunch of rules we have to follow'. But hey, at least they're trying to keep us honest, right?
I agree with Carmen, but I'm not sure about A. Shouldn't the law always take precedence over the CIMA Code? I don't want to get in trouble for following the Code instead of the law.
D) Professional accountants should consider the ethical requirements contained in the CIMA Code as the basic principles which they should follow in performing their work
Well, B, C, and D seem pretty straightforward. The CIMA Code is mandatory and we have to follow relevant laws and regulations as well as the basic ethical principles.
