A customer called is stating they cannot place WebRTC calls. You discover that Avaya Breeze T has not been configured to allow Cross-origin Resource Sharing (CORS).
How would you allow cross-origin resource sharing for all?
I'm just curious, does Avaya Breeze have a setting to 'Allow Cross-origin Resource Sharing for some'? You know, like a 'CORS Lite' mode or something. Seems like a missed opportunity if not.
Option D it is! Can't wait to see the look on the customer's face when WebRTC starts working again. Maybe they'll even throw in a bonus for fixing it so quickly.
Hmm, I'm not too sure about this one. Do we really need to allow CORS for 'all'? Isn't that a bit overkill? I'd rather go with a more targeted approach if possible.
I agree with Wynell. Option D is the way to go. Editing the config.properties file directly seems like a more complex solution, and the other options don't seem to target the CORS issue specifically.
Option D looks like the right choice here. Accessing the Breeze > Configuration > HTTP Security > HTTP CORS tab and checking the Allow Cross-origin Resource Sharing for all option seems the most straightforward way to enable CORS for Avaya Breeze.
