The high channel density is a big plus in my book. Imagine trying to run a call center on a media server with low channel capacity - that would be a recipe for disaster!

Haha, I'm just glad it's not called the 'Avaya Sour Media Server'. That would be a real disadvantage, am I right?

I agree with Leonor. Having more codec support and direct trunk connectivity can definitely improve call quality and reliability.

I think the advantages of AAMS are high channel density, additional codec support, and direct ISDN-PRI trunk connectivity.

I agree, those are the key advantages. I'd also add that the lack of DHCP and ISDN-PRI connectivity could be seen as drawbacks, so it's important to understand the capabilities and limitations of the media server.

B, C, and E seem like the best options here. The additional codec support, no playback announcement limits, and high channel density are definitely advantages of the Avaya Aura Media Server.
