Haha, can you imagine trying to Telnet into an RDS instance? That's like trying to use a rotary phone to access the cloud. B) is the only logical choice.

C) Depends on if it's in VPC or not? I mean, maybe if it's a unicorn VPC, but otherwise, nope, no direct host access allowed.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure the correct answer is B) No. Amazon RDS is all about simplifying database management, so they wouldn't let us SSH in like that.

No way! Amazon RDS is a managed service, so direct host access is not allowed. That's the whole point of using a managed database service.
